An alert is information about traffic conditions on one or more of your drives that we send to you when and how you ask for it. Alerts can be sent on particular days and at particular times (for example, every weekday at 7:30 am) or can be sent only when conditions on one of your drives crosses a certain threshold (for example, when the Jam Factor exceeds 5). You can even set up a one-time alert if you want to find out if the roads are bad when you’re heading to the airport for that big business trip, or going to the big game next weekend.
You can have your alerts sent to your desktop e-mail, mobile device, by an automated phone call, or as an SMS text message.
