Can you send me text (SMS) traffic alerts?
Note: You must sign up for MyTraffic to use this.
To have us send SMS Alerts to your phone, you’ll need to register and verify your phone number. Sign in to http://my.traffic.com and click on “my account” on the top green menu bar.
Click on contact information.
Scroll down to the Phone section and enter your phone number in the Phone 1 field.
Click on the Submit button
To create a new Text Alert for your phone, go to the “Alerts” page by clicking on the Alerts tab.
Click on
Fill out the form.
Under “Send Alert to” is a “Text Mesage” option. At the end of that is the “Verify this Device” link. Click this link and then click “Send Verification” This will send a four digit code to your phone. When you receive it, enter it into the form field and click the “Save” button.
You can now click the “Add Alert” button.
