The Traffic Desktop Community will install the following:
  • Traffic Desktop Community application
  • NAVTEQ Traffic.com System Tray application – a small icon in the bottom right corner of your screen from which you can launch the Traffic Desktop Community application or change the settings
  • NAVTEQ Traffic.com Toolbar – a browser plug-in for Internet Explorer


To get the Traffic Desktop Community:
  1. Download the Traffic Desktop Community
  2. Select Run after the Traffic Community Desktop is downloaded
  3. Close all Internet Explorer windows
  4. Follow the instructions of the Traffic Desktop Community setup wizard
  5. Select Finish at the end of the setup process

Microsoft .NET Notice:

The Microsoft .NET framework 2.0 is required and may not be installed on your system. If needed the Traffic Desktop Community setup application will ask if you wish to download and install it. Microsoft .NET framework 2.0 is a 23MB download typically taking 3-6 minutes to download and install.
